To deliver a consistent experience for Gozaic members, Heritage Travel works with our partners to ensure we always have your most up-to-date, accurate information, from hours of operation and admission fees to nearby lodging, dining and more.
Heritage Travel requires that all Partners commit to the following:
- Be open to the public and maintain regular hours, or offer public access to historic areas, districts or regions.
- Be safe and pose no threat to visitors.
- Engage in proper historic preservation and site stewardship practices.
- Represent the heritage, history and/or culture of the region, state, city or community.
- Promote the site or destination in a way that preserves and protects the resource.
- Provide adequate interpretation to enhance the visitor experience.
- Agree to work with Heritage Travel to ensure that the site, destination and experience are accurately described, especially in areas of historic, heritage and cultural experiences.
- Be willing to work with local, regional and state tourism and preservation organizations to take advantage of opportunities and increase awareness of the importance of heritage to a community.
